FAQ
Answers before we begin.
Reaching out to a therapist takes courage. Here are answers to the questions I hear most often – so you can feel more confident about taking that first step.
Yes. I offer a free 15-minute phone or video consultation so we can get a sense of whether working together feels like the right fit.
There’s no pressure or commitment – just a conversation.
The first session is about getting to know each other. I’ll ask questions about what brought you in, your background, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before we start – just bring yourself.
If you’ve been feeling stuck – in relationships, in anxiety, in patterns you can’t quite shake – therapy can help.
It’s especially useful when you already have some self-awareness but insight alone hasn’t been enough to create real change.
Sessions are 50 minutes. Most clients begin with weekly sessions and adjust frequency as they progress.
Yes. I offer in-person sessions at my Miami office at 2000 South Dixie Highway, Suite 104.
I also provide online therapy for clients located anywhere in Florida.
I offer appointments Monday through Friday. Contact me directly to discuss availability that works for your schedule.
I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a session.
Late cancellations and no-shows may be charged the full session fee.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a structured, research-supported therapy for processing traumatic or emotionally charged memories.
Rather than just talking about difficult experiences, EMDR helps your brain reprocess them so they lose their emotional charge. Many clients find it works when talk therapy alone hasn’t fully resolved things.
No. Many of my clients don’t identify as having trauma in the traditional sense.
EMDR and insight-oriented work can be powerful for relationship patterns, anxiety, self-doubt, and life transitions – even when the root cause isn’t a single dramatic event.
I work with adults who are thoughtful and motivated but feel stuck despite their efforts.
Many of my clients are high-functioning in their careers or social lives, but struggle internally with anxiety, relationship patterns, or emotional reactions they can’t quite explain.
No, I am a private-pay provider and do not bill insurance directly.
Depending on your plan, you may be able to submit claims for out-of-network reimbursement. I’m happy to provide a superbill upon request.
Please contact me directly to discuss current session rates.
I aim to make therapy as accessible as possible and am happy to talk through options during our free consultation.
